NVIDIA dejaría descontinuada la RTX 5090, según un rumor, y reservaría todos los chips GB202 para su gama profesional de tarjetas gráficas. La información procede del filtrador MEGAsizeGPU, considerado fiable en hardware, pero NVIDIA no ha confirmado estos planes ni ha anunciado una fecha de fin de producción. El GB202 nuevo iría a las RTX PRO si la RTX 5090 queda descontinuada Según el filtrador, los GB202 que se fabriquen a partir de ahora ya no se destinarían a nuevas RTX 5090, sino que irían íntegros a la línea profesional RTX PRO.
