Un modder ha conseguido ejecutar GTA 4 de forma nativa en un teléfono Android. Para ello adaptó con inteligencia artificial el código de la Xbox 360 en la que salió el juego. El proyecto no necesita emular la consola de Microsoft al completo, y de ahí su interés. Sigue en fase experimental, pero los primeros resultados son alentadores. El juego corre en un móvil con Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 y admite mando. Niko Bellic se maneja de forma parecida a como se hacía en la consola.
