QNAP ha presentado la serie QSW 2000, una gama de switches L2 gestionables por web con opciones de 2.5GbE y 10GbE. La familia busca cubrir tanto la conexión de puestos de trabajo y NAS como la agregación de tráfico hacia la red principal. La propuesta llega con dos modelos y varias funciones pensadas para entornos empresariales. Entre ellas hay puertos combo 10GbE, gestión Layer 2 y un sistema de administración web QSS con actualización de firmware online. Dos modelos del QSW 2000 para acceso y agregación QNAP describe estos equipos como switches de acceso y de agregación en uno.
