La cámara del iPhone 18 Pro Max podría estrenar una apertura variable en su sensor principal. Un registro de diagnóstico ISP incluido entre los archivos filtrados de Tata Electronics apuntaría también a un cambio de sensor, aunque Apple no ha confirmado ninguno de estos datos. La documentación habría salido de una brecha sufrida este año por Tata Electronics, socio de fabricación de Apple en India. Según Notebookcheck, el grupo de ransomware World Leaks publicó a finales de junio más de 630 GB de información, con más de 200.000 archivos que incluirían listas de proveedores, especificaciones de componentes y fotos internas de prototipos del iPhone 18 Pro en pruebas.
