El Poco X8 ha pasado por las autoridades de Tailandia y Singapur, un paso que apunta a un lanzamiento cercano pero que no fija todavía una fecha. La certificación Poco X8 NBTC identifica el nombre comercial del teléfono, mientras que Poco X8 IMDA confirma conectividad adicional; el Poco X8 con NFC figura junto a Bluetooth, Wi-Fi y 5G. Poco no ha comunicado oficialmente el dispositivo ni sus características. Dos registros confirman el nombre, pero no la ficha técnica Ambas bases de datos recogen el número de modelo 2607DPC18G.
