El firmware abierto ZGM llegará primero al Keychron G6 HE inalámbrico, el ratón gaming que la marca quiere oponer al Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike. Keychron acaba de confirmar que el G6 HE será el primer dispositivo en estrenar esta plataforma basada en Zephyr RTOS, la misma base que usa ZMK en teclados mecánicos. ZGM promete una eficiencia similar a la de ZMK, pero aplicada a un ratón en lugar de un teclado. El objetivo es que desarrolladores y equipos de hardware experimenten en abierto, compartan mejoras y construyan firmware sobre una base mantenible, sin depender de cajas negras cerradas como las de Logitech.
