Una nueva herramienta llamada melonVolt permite tocar directamente el voltaje MSVDD de la GeForce RTX 5090, algo que hasta ahora quedaba fuera del alcance de los ajustes habituales. El desarrollo del overclocking que melonVolt aplica a la RTX 5090 mediante la interfaz NVAPI de NVIDIA ajusta ese voltaje en pasos de 5 mV, y varios usuarios ya han reportado subidas de reloj XBAR de hasta 142 MHz en sus tarjetas. Con melonVolt, el NVAPI voltage tuning de la RTX 5090 se convierte en una práctica más accesible para los entusiastas del overclocking.
