Cuatro años sin renovarse. Ese es el tiempo que lleva el Apple TV 4K actual. Los últimos informes apuntan a que el lanzamiento del Apple TV 4K llegaría este otoño. Concretamente, se espera entre septiembre y octubre, aunque Apple no ha confirmado nada oficialmente. Entre las novedades destacan Wi-Fi 7 y Thread en la conectividad del nuevo chip inalámbrico N1, que también sumaría Bluetooth 6. Según información recogida por Bloomberg a finales de julio, el nuevo Apple TV y un HomePod mini estarían "prácticamente listos para lanzarse". De hecho, Apple prepara estos dos dispositivos con chips más rápidos para este otoño. El retraso se habría vinculado al despliegue de la Siri más personalizada de la compañía.
