Una ROG Strix devuelta por RMA llegó con el fusible puenteado


Una fuente ASUS ROG Strix PSU con defecto de fuego de 850 W regresó de un RMA con un cable soldado sobre los contactos del fusible interno. El fusible puenteado tras el RMA anulaba una protección de seguridad y, según relata el propietario, el equipo hizo saltar el automático principal de la vivienda tras unas dos horas de uso. El defecto de fuego en esta PSU ASUS ROG Strix no se detectó hasta que el usuario abrió la carcasa. La unidad había sido enviada al servicio de garantía y el dueño afirma que posteriormente se le negó cobertura. Tras el primer corte eléctrico, intentó rearmar el automático y encender de nuevo el PC, pero el interruptor volvió a dispararse. ASUS…
