Dos Wii Remote originales esconden ahora el hardware de unos Switch Sports Resort Joy-Con 2 y funcionan en todos los juegos de Nintendo Switch 2. El modder y youtuber Kouzex ha creado estos mandos Wii Remote para cubrir una carencia concreta: Nintendo todavía no permite usar oficialmente sus antiguos controladores de movimiento en la consola. La modificación también prepara el terreno para Switch Sports Resort, cuyo lanzamiento está previsto para octubre, y sus Joy-Con 2.
