La RTX 5090 vuelve a derretir su conector: el cable llegó a 175 °C


Un conector de alimentación de la RTX 5090 ha vuelto a derretirse durante una prueba de carga, mientras el cable alcanzaba los 175 °C. El incidente ocurrió en un equipo con una ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 y una fuente Be Quiet! Dark Power 13, y las mediciones apuntan a un reparto extremo de la corriente entre los hilos. El problema apareció durante una prueba de carga intensa. Steve detectó algo anómalo al tocar el cable y notar que quemaba; además, una cámara térmica confirmó la temperatura registrada. El conjunto utilizaba el conector 12V-2x6, el mismo diseño que aparece de forma recurrente en los casos de conectores fundidos de las RTX 50-series. El cable RTX 5090 y el conector 12V-2x6…
