Apple ha presentado el iPhone Duo, su primer plegable, que no será ampliamente compatible con todos los accesorios MagSafe existentes. El teléfono se mostró el 9 de septiembre de 2026 durante una presentación en la que John Ternus, nuevo CEO de Apple, recuperó el segmento «One More Thing» para introducir este dispositivo. El formato cuadrado recuerda a una mezcla entre el iPhone mini y el iPad mini, y además permitirá utilizar Apple Pencil. El problema práctico aparece al intentar trasladar al nuevo diseño algunos accesorios pensados para los iPhone convencionales, especialmente las baterías y las carteras magnéticas.
