GPD ha presentado el WIN 5 con el procesador Ryzen AI Max+ 388, que mantiene la GPU Radeon 8060S completa. La consola portátil conserva así las 40 unidades de cálculo RDNA 3.5, con una frecuencia de hasta 2,9 GHz, la misma configuración gráfica del Ryzen AI Max+ 395. El recorte se concentra en la CPU; de hecho, el chip emplea 8 núcleos Zen 5 y 16 hilos, frente a los 16 núcleos y 32 hilos del Max+ 395.
