La New Nintendo 3DS puede ejecutar juegos de PC mediante streaming gracias a Kasumi, una aplicación homebrew no oficial que lleva GeForce NOW a la familia New 3DS con una resolución máxima de 960×540 y hasta 30 FPS. El cliente funciona en la New Nintendo 3DS, la New Nintendo 3DS XL y la New Nintendo 2DS XL, sin necesidad de tener un ordenador gaming encendido en casa. En la práctica, este proyecto abre el cloud gaming de Nintendo para consolas que no fueron diseñadas para ello.
